Camp Kaitawa

Room 1 had a fantastic camp at Camp Kaitawa in Te Urewera National Park. The students really challenged themselves to participate in a wide range of activities including early morning runs up the pipeline, the confidence course, kayaking, caving, glow worming, orienteering, Burma Trail and tramping to Lake Waikareiti and finally over Ngamoko, a five and a half walk which took them past the giant Rata tree.
